Half of the year was cooking and half of the year was sewing. We had to learn the proper table setting and we were TESTED on it. Do I remember the proper table setting....probably not! Do I set my table....NO WAY! Plates are placed by the stove where the food remains in pots. Each family member is expected to pick up their plate, serve themselves, and then be seated. I do put things on the table in bowls on holidays and when we have company. Otherwise, it's casual dining at my house.Belviehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01339295196960064374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-413851723073175452.post-34046637549017162262008-04-24T04:35:00.000-07:002008-04-24T04:35:00.000-07:00I love old books, and we have some of them at home...I love old books, and we have some of them at home.<BR/>You cat must be a lucky cat! LOL Don't forget the proper wine glass. LOL I love old books. I did have one on the birds and the bees. It was so funny to read so Freudian. Hum.... I wonder what I did with it! Hang in there with school. The light in the tunnel isn't far! It's hard balance pleasure/quilting with school. I know I always feel as thought I should be studying as opposed to quilting. So nothing gets done sometimes.
