Baby Rebecca was born on March 18th. I always wait until the baby is born before making a quilt. Here is the Yellow Brick Road done in pinks and without a border, I didn't think it needed a border.
There's so much organization going on with
Judy's sewing room, "to do" lists and
Carole's Ditch Witch, isn't this exciting. I have this note book made by a friend, she makes beautiful Altered Books and teaches classes too.
Rose and
Leigh gave me the idea for using this note book "bling the light went on" organizing my "to do" lists. The pen next to the book is not a pen but a mechanical pencil made of wood. This is a gift made by my wonderful hubby.
I love your pink quilt. I haven't been bitten by the Turning Twenty bug yet. Thanks for the links. I am trying to organize my sewing room and need all the ideas I can get!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute quilt! Rebecca will love it! So cozy looking! The note book is beautiful. Have fun organizating! Keep well!
ReplyDeleteThat's an adorable quilt for Baby Rebecca. She'll be "Pretty in Pink". :-) I agree, it looks wonderful without a border!
ReplyDeleteThe notebook and pencil are both beautiful. Feel special when you jot notes and lists!

How gorgeous is that notebook??? I s the picture of some one in particular?
ReplyDeleteYour hubby is so clever to be able to make that pencil.
Your pink "Yellow brick road" is adorable and looks terrific without a border. How clever your husband is, and what a gorgeous pencil.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the sweet words on my blog.
I am fascinated by all the altered books I'm seeing on blogs - I just don't have time or space for another hobby! So I keep telling myself to enjoy seeing what the rest of you are doing. I keep telling myself that . . . .
