Snowed in for another day! Watching the snow fall must give me some energy because another small flimsy is done. I got the inspiration at this quilt shop. I saw it up on the wall and came home and made it before I forgot what it looked like...LOL. I couldn't decide which brown print I liked better with the pinks so I decided to use both.
Here is a closer picture of the blocks. The block is 2 3/8" finished size...wow that's small...what was I thinking AGAIN.
This is what my backyard looked like this afternoon. The shrubs are getting pounded down by the weight of the snow. This big tree is not usually hanging so low, I can hardly see the fence hiding back there.
I hope you are finding time to spend sewing. Thanks for dropping by with a comment....I look forward to everyone.
I love th snow pictures. I love snow. I like your little quilt. It is just lovely.
ReplyDeleteThe snow is so pretty! Thank you for sharing pictures!

ReplyDeleteAnother little treasure of a quilt! Small quilts are so much fun to make. I always like to see photos of snow scenes. Snow is forecast here for later in the week.
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is absolutly adorable! I love it! The colours are sweet! I will admit, the snow does look beautiful! Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful quilt! I love the combination of the colors and the block pattern!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful little quilt! Boy are those pieces tiny.
ReplyDeleteSnow is lovely when it is at your house and not mine!LOL We had sideways snow on Wed. That's snow with a 25-30mph wind. I've been in the midwest 6 years and rarely does snow stack up on the limbs and fences because there is always a stiff wind to blow it off.
Wow! Another cute flimsy! I love pink and brown together. We don't get snow here, but when it rains, I get more productive with my quilting too.
ReplyDeleteLove the pinks and brown little quilts. Just lovely! I must get back to mine. I started a 9 quilt BOM P&B Lori Smith, did the first one and stopped! Inspiration to get back at them...thanks!
ReplyDeleteOh the little flimsy is so cuteamous! Love the fabrics.
ReplyDeleteThe snow photo is really neat, too. Thanks for sharing. Those of us without snow appreciate it from afar.
There is nothing prettier than gobs of snow on Douglas firs...OK-maybe pretty little pink and brown quilts!

ReplyDeleteIt has started to try and warm up here, it still has a way to go.
Hi Wendy, such a sweet little quilt, and just in time for valentine's day *VBS* It reminds me of the little quilts in that new book(well, new to me at least) "Prairie Children and Their Quilts".
ReplyDeleteLove the colors...and the snow is very pretty, but there is SO much of it..LOL. Stay warm, hugs, Finn
