Quilt Show

I almost forgot to show these pictures of the local quilt show from last weekend. Lions Gate Quilt Guild had a spectacular show of talented quilters. Here is a mini version for a Sunday afternoon, grab a cup of tea and enjoy.
This oak leaf quilt was my favourite, it's all done in homespun's....just gorgeous.

    I am glad you enjoyed the show Wendy. I have a couple of pictures posted as well. Did you see the fabric on the back of the Halloween quilt? It was glow in the dark eyes - quite cute. There was some great sunflower wall hangings from a class that was offered.

    The blackberry/raspberry jam looks very tasty!

    Oh boy - now those are eye candy! Love the oak leaf one,love the sunflowers ones and I especially love the maple leaves. Oh goodness, I love them all!

    Wow, these quilts are fabulous. I really like the Oak Leaves too. Homespuns are my favorite fabric.
    The two barn quilts are really quite amazing.

    I am just catching up on reading your blog and wanted to tell you how sorry I am for your loss of Jenny. Our beloved pets certainly do leave a big void when they leave us.

    I wanted to mention to you that the Oak Leaf pattern you show comes from a Fons & Porter magazine. I have it scanned in on my cd and if you would like me to send it to you, I will be happy to do so. I had just printed it out a few days ago thinking it would be a great applique patter to make.
