Flat Annie

Annie is not so flat anymore, she got some much needed stuffing and is feeling much better. She was missing her eye's for a couple of days too...poor Annie, I looked high and low for my paints to make the little black and white dot, without any success. I was heading to Micheal's to pick up some paint but first I had to drop my daughter off at home. She showed me the cutest sign she painted for her "kitty X-ing" out in the back lane. Light bulb moment....I asked her for a little paint to finish Annie...duh. So Annie is now happy. The funny thing is I found my paints this morning, right under my nose....next to the computer.....duh again

Here is the magazine I found Annie waiting for me to bring her home. In case you can't see, it's Vol 8, No 9.

Have fun making your own Annie.

  2. Thanks for sharing Annie, and all of your projects. I love making little quilts, and have enjoyed looking at your quilts - it's nice to have the inspiration! Aren't those Australian Mags the best?

  3. Flat Annie was great, but stuffed Annie is so much cuter.

  4. I seem to be having those 'right under my nose' moments more and more often these days. I don't think I'm a fan of them *s*

  6. Annie definitely looks better with a few pounds on her. As a matter of fact, she just might get a call from Andy a bit later. He thinks she looks mighty fine too!

  11. Well lookie there she did fatten up right nicely! I bought a couple of the Raggedy Old Annie patterns to make one day and I loved seeing Lucy make that Old Faithy doll, but I haven;t gotten the inkling yet to make one for myself!

So does she have a name?

  20. Annie turned out great Wendy. Your belongings sound like mine -- always under my nose but invisible!
