I received a very lovely email from a neighbour just across the border in Blaine. Gail doesn't have a blog but thought I would like to check out Primitive Pieces by Lynda, she has recently started blogging. Go over and give her a big welcome. Thanks so much Gail, I was so excited to find Lynda's blog.
There is so much to see in this shop, click on the pictures and you'll see all the little details. These ladies really do a good job.
You would think a week is long enough to get the binding sewed on a quilt. I'm almost finished the binding on my Polka Dot Girls...soon I'll post a picture of the whole quilt.
Keep cool and Thanks for visiting.

Great shop. What pretty things they have. For some reason I really like the Sunbonnet Sues. Getting nostalgic I guess. Is the shop air conditioned? It's so hot here that I can barely get myself off the couch. Thank goodness I have hand stitchery to do. Awesome storm last night, wasn't it? The neighbours were all out in the street, Saturday night beer in hand, to watch it... til it started to rain.
There’s so much to see in the pictures, what a fabulous shop!
It’s worth a 45 minutes drive!
Lovely shop and great pictures. You could do their next advertising brochure!!
What a wonderful shop. Boy it would be hard to stay away from that one. Thank you for taking us along.
Only 45 minutes, Wendy? I'd be there every second day! (wink)
Thanks for the tour. I only wish I lived closer.
looks like a wonderful shop. The weather has been very strange this summer - here in Arkansas where it is normally very hot all summer we have been having some cool spells also to break up the heat which has been nice. I have to come inside in the afternoon in the A/C and quilt.

What a nice quilt shop. Thanks so much for giving us a tour. And thanks for the link to Lynda's blog. I really love her work.
Whoa what a great shop full of eye candy. A great get away to cool off and inspire. Thanks for the link to Lynda - didn't know she had started a blog - love her designs. Enjoy the warm/hot - you know cold and snow is just a few months away - brrr, lol. We've actually been on the cool side this summer - go figure
Hugs - Karen

I have never been to Quiltopia - but right away from the pictures I knew that must be the shop. One day I really need to go there!!
It certainly has been hot and muggy hasn't it.
I just told my hubby I am going to LIVE in that shop - lol ! He thinks I am joking :-)

Lovely shop.
I looked at Spokane Washington today and the expected high was 100~~!!! Most of you guys up there have no AC right? I'd be dying or in a hotel...or better yet out at the store buying a window unit for emergencies! I melt.
Love the goodies in the store! Thanks for the pictures!
HAPPY DAY! I've been urging Lynda to start a blog forEVER! Thank you so much for sharing that information. I'm headed over there now!
Great shop tour. Thanks for taking pictures for us.
Hi Wendy!
You are so lucky to live so CLOSE to Quiltopia. When they have a booth at the Quilt Show in Victoria I bet I spent over an hour going over their merchandise. Their booth is always jam packed with the cutest things. I always spend the most $$$ in their booth....but to actually go to their shop.....lucky you! I am on their mailing list so I have ordered a few things but ONLY 45 min. away....heaven!!! Someday I am going to go on a shop hop over on the mainland!!!
Take care and I will savor your pictures! Thank you!
Paulette
I really enjoyed looking at all the new blogs and getting that inspiration from all the quilts that were shown.
