A closer look at one of the blocks. I used an aged muslin for the stitching.
I had another little road trip this week to visit my Mom. I'm so done with driving, it's time to stay home and work on my stitchery. I also have stitching on the Cheri and Barri Christmas quilt, from my visit to Buggy Barn. When will I have enough time.

CUTE, CUTE, CUTE!!!! Thanks for the info, I think I may actually try this. It may not be finished until I'm 80, but it will make me smile while I work on it :)
that just looks absolutely wonderful - that will be a much admired quilt at Christmas time, I am sure
Wendy, it is beautiful.
nice stitching...........
That is darling. You are right - Lynette's patterns have so much detail - they really are fun to do. Yours is turning out terrificly. When you figure out that question about time - share with us the answer - I could use a couple of extra hours every day just to sew!
That is just adorable! You did a fantastic job. I just love Lynette's patterns.
I like that you used brighter colors in your stitcheries. The stitching shows up so well in the photo. Very cute designs.
I just love it!
I love it, Wendy. What a happy quilt this is going to make.
I'm so into stitcheries these days. I find handwork so relaxing.
Thanks for the link. I must check it out.
How's Lula, BTW?
Your Christmas stitchery is wonderful! Where do you find aged muslin?
Wendy that project is just adorable. I think her designs are so cute and your stitching is always perfect :).
I hear ya on the driving, it does get old being gone. Nesting time is coming right - with winter around the corner?
Hugs - karen
That is so charming. I'm thinking of christmas too but don't have a project in mind yet.
Your stitcheries are adorable. You do such a good job. I can't wait to see the finished product.
Very cute stitchery.
I love Lynette's stitcheries, Wendy! Where do you find the aged muslin - or do you do it yourself?
Cheers!
Good to see the Christmas Stitchery by Lynette Anderson. I also started it, but I did the outside stitched borders first, leaving the inside stitcheries for last!. Don't know why I started there! Funny how our brains work. Your stitching looks great. Thanks for sharing.
So sweet Wendy! Love the reindeer, he fabulous! Are those solid hearts filled in with french knots? Fab idea if they are...I'll have to remember that trick!
Can't wait to see it finished!
So very cute!
