My spool swap quilt is now finished. This was a swap between myself, Darlene, Sharon, Carol, Dawn and Judy, I think everyone has completed and shown their quilts already, I might be the last one, not sure. I had a really great time making these blocks It was fun getting all those little packages in the mail each month, I miss seeing them arriving in my mailbox.
The label on the back, each person signed and sent a block for a label. I decided it would be a good way to hide the seam in the back.
Boo Boo (aka Kitten) has been keeping us entertained. He sure likes to get into small places, the dishwasher, clothes dryer, dresser drawers and we found out he likes to eat flax seed gluten free bread, must have been his midnight snack. Only 2 more sleeps.....I hope....but then I just got an email from my daughter and she drove all the way to California, she was only intending to go as far as Oregon.
Happy Quilting.

Love the quilt, a spool quilt is on my "one day to do" list and everytime I see one I know I need to start it. I really like the quilting on it. Boo-boo's a cutie, funny how cats roam at night. Last night someone left the piano open and ours (jinx) was walking across the keyboard until we had to get up and close it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous quilt!!! I love the colors!
