I thought I would show a little bit of something else I've been doing lately. Do you remember my ladybug quilt here? It's all quilted and I'm just loving this quilting design with it's funky curves and curls. I've started another quilt with this same design. I think I will get a lot of use out of this one for sure.
It's been a learning process for me and I'm really enjoying how much fun machine quilting can be. I have a couple more stitchery blocks done and will get a picture of those soon. We've had the most wonderful weather here, not too hot in the mid 20's. My tomatoes are growing, I have lots of round green things showing up......boy do those guys need lots of water.
I hope you are enjoying the summer.
Oh, Wendy it looks fabulous! Enjoy your cooler temps!
ReplyDeleteNice quilting, Wendy! Love the design you're doing.
ReplyDeleteYour quilting looks great! So does the quilt! :0)
ReplyDeleteLove it Wendy.. do you do the quilting on your domestic machine???
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute quilt and your quilting looks wonderful. Love the ladybugs!
ReplyDeleteI wish I were good at machine quilting. Yours looks very good.
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely! I wish I could say it is not too hot here. I am convinced that I am melting! If only I could melt off some pounds exactly where I chose...
ReplyDeleteYour quilting looks fantastic Wendy! Mid 20's is perfect weather and I am looking forward to it getting warmer here, until summer sets in. We water our tomatoes every day in the summer.
ReplyDeleteWendy, your quilting is beautiful. What machine do you use for your quilting?
ReplyDeleteFabulous quilting. Wish my tomatoes were growing - I don't think they are getting enough sun each day - maybe a different spot next year. But I agree, the weather has been spectacular.
ReplyDeleteLove the greens in this quilt. Your quilting is fantastic. Great work.
ReplyDeleteGood job on the quilting. It's fun isn't it? It relaxes me. I get in the zone. lol
ReplyDeleteThe quilting is beautiful!! What a fun summery quilt too!
ReplyDeleteThat is really pretty quilting!
ReplyDeleteLove what I can see of the quilt too!
Lola
Your quilting is looking really good. Having fun is the most important thing.
ReplyDeleteJust look at you!!! A pro already!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilting!!
ReplyDeleteLovely kitchen! I do like my granite counters however, they will let you know when your sponge or rag is unclean! Streaks streaks and more streaks! I use Windex with vinegar (do not use the amonia kind as it takes the finish off). Enough about gorgeous counters! ;o)
ReplyDeleteYou've been a busy gal! Love the quilt and quilting! You're coming along nicely!
As for a heat wave, the last one we had in the beginning of July I was in Lake Placid freezing my tush off in ice rinks! ;o) DD has a one week figure skating camp! Lately, it's been somewhat tolerable! Drink lots of water! ;o) Hugs!
I like that pattern too - quilting sure brings the quilt to life.
ReplyDeleteYour kithen is so pretty. I love that white is back "in" as I have always thought white appliances looked so clean. the smooth stove top surface is my favorite new feature in my kitchen. So much easier to clean than those old burners.
Beautiful quilting. Pinwheels are such fun blocks and that lady bug is cute.
