Slow Progress

All these HST's and I'm not done yet, the borders still need to be added. It's been a slow process of making 420 HST's because it's sooooo boring trimming and sewing these together and right now as you see it the quilt is only 45"......just call me crazy, I don't know what I was thinking when I started making this but I persevered and got it done.....whew....glad that part is finished. I think it will be a nice quilt when the borders are added, I still need to decide what the border fabric will be. I'll be back soon to show you what I decided.
This weekend is the local Car Show and Quilt Walk in Ladner BC. I hope to get some good pictures to show next week.

Happy Quilting,

I know what you mean about the boring part of making so many HST's. It is well worth it because your quilt is looking so good.

I love it Wendy. Lots of triangles but so worth it in the end. Are you doing a pieced border?

I t may be boring to work on, but it's simply beautiful to look at. Great colors. Are you pressing the seams open on the other side for quilting later? Man, I really like this piece.
