It's Finished!

I had this top pieced a year ago but didn't get around to quilting until now. It's an extra big queen size quilt for my bed. I can't wait to get it washed and dried so I can use it. My dryer has been broken for a week and the repair guy came today so it's going to be washed soon.
Here is the back, I quilted this with my Gammill and really love the design.
Both cats went to the vet for yearly shots. I was a bit stressed with taking them both together, mainly because they need that little bit of tender loving care and I found it difficult to have two to deal with. It took a day and a half for them to finally get some energy to eat. Lula sleeps most of the day anyway but seeing Boo Boo sleeping so much was not normal. Today they are feeling much better and are eating again.

Happy Quilting

  1. Your quilt is beautiful, I love a quilt that is so beautiful on the back that you can turn it over and use it that way for a change. Did you do the quilting? Glad the kitties are feeling better.

My DD has to give her kittie Mia a shot every day for the rest of her life. It is a drip bag and her kidneys were shutting down and damaged her liver. It is because the people that had her before Nellie abused her. She is such a sweet kittie.

  32. Stunning quilt and such a sweet quiltpwtern, did you do that on your sewingmachine, or are you so lucky to work with a longarm? I'm still uncertain of the right quiltingpatern for my pinwheelquilt, do I use an all-over of do I work around the pinwheels; aaargh, I'll get there, and in the meanwhile I'll enjoy reading blogs, waiting for inspiration.
