I've been working on these square in a square blocks using the Pom Pom De Paris fabrics. I used 2 or 3 charm packs and some yardage to make the blocks. This pattern is similar to the Schnibbles Brocante. To make it a lap size quilt I've enlarged the blocks to be 6 1/2" finished, I haven't figured out the exact quilt size yet.
I've started to get the rows together. When it's finished, the quilt will become a shop sample for a little while. I haven't decided if it will need a border or not, probably wait until I get the top together before deciding.

Have you visited Hugs from Helen blog lately, she is about to start Sunday stitching lessons. I think this is a good opportunity to pick up some tips and learn a new embroidery stitch or two.
Happy Quilting and Stitching!

Love the fabric for this one Wendy. It's going to look wonderful when finished. I don't put borders on quilts, but that's only because I can never get them cut without some kind of bow in them. For your quilt, I'd go without borders, but you're much better at them then me.
