Very little sewing going on this past week, I was busy with soooo many other things. What those "things" are, I couldn't tell you because I really don't remember what I did all week but.....I was busy. Have you ever had one of those weeks? Or is it just me? I hope it's not just me. We did go see the play "Wicked", that was so fantastic to see in person. I did this stitchery as well, so I do  have something to show for a whole week of doing nothing. Thanks for visiting and listening to my ramblings. Hopefully more quilting going on this week.

  1. Thanks for being honest!!! Since I'm a new blogger I've been so encouraged to stay busy on my multiple quilting projects. I just love seeing what others are doing. But I admit when I don't get much done because of other things, I feel guilty!!! So thanks!! Love the red work!!!

    Blessings

  4. That looks like a JAM pattern. Aren't her designs just the cutest things? I am still trying to get through the book WICKED. It's taken me almost a year of picking it up here and there. then I have to re-read what I read to catch myself back up!

  10. I know exactly what you mean about not knowing what you've done. A few years ago I started writing it down every night when I got into bed - not 'Dear Diary' stuff, just 'knit on X project' or 'went to post office and market' or 'took critter to the vet'. I've been doing it for at least 4 years now and at least when I wonder what the heck I did last week (or how long I really have been working on that table runner), I can look back and find out!

  12. love the embroidery!
Life unfortunately gets in the way of our favourite pastime, sewing, sometimes, so don't feel guilty -- sometimes men need eat and kids need things and dogs need their walks

  14. I have seen Wicked twice. You should get the CD. Who did you like more Glenda or Elphaba? Do you go to Country Loft very often?

  17. I need to work on that stitchery. But then I have a lot of them I need to do. Glad you liked Wicked. Nancy took us to see it when we lived in Ca. It was awesome. It's her favorite.
