I finished the binding last night on my fall quilt. The quilting I did is a all over pumpkin pattern on my long arm machine. The picture is a bit washed out, I guess it's the fall weather getting a little dull outside.
Onto something more exciting. Do you love Red and White quilts? I sure do.....Nancy has taken lots of pictures of the Temecula Quilt Shop show of quilts. These are wonderful to see....makes me want to start a new quilt. Thanks Nancy for taking such fantastic pictures!
The back is a flannel with pumpkins of course.
My embroidery stuff is under Boo somewhere. I don't know if he is trying to help or just plain getting in my way. Boo doesn't sit in one place too long, so I know he'll find something new to distract him soon.Onto something more exciting. Do you love Red and White quilts? ReplyDeleteHi Wendy... Your Fall quilt is beautiful... What a lovely quilt... Boo is sweet as well... I think cats are putting hair on the quilt to give it extre warmth... Hugs :)

ReplyDeleteI love your pumpkin quilt~ perfect choice for the back. :-) Hope you get to embroider. ;-) Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteLovely job on your fall quilt, Wendy. I also love the quilt Boo is laying on. I keep pulling this pattern out and looking at it. Now that I see yours, I'm inspired again to really start it.
ReplyDeleteA perfectly wonderful autumn quilt!
ReplyDeleteLove your autumn quilt. Would love to see the quilt Boo is sitting on. Hugs
ReplyDeleteSo pretty it makes me imagine I'm smelling pumpkin pies and cinnamon.
ReplyDeleteI love it Wendy -- what a perfect fall quilt!
ReplyDeleteLovely autumn quilt and great machine quilting. Love Boo. I'm always afraid my cat will jump on my hand quilting with the needle still in it.
ReplyDeleteTeach Boo to embroider and you will get twice the work done! Like you can teach a cat to do anything while they are sleeping or eating or ignoring you!
ReplyDeleteNicely done Wendy! I just love all over pumpkin quilting too!!! Great texture with fun visual!!
ReplyDeleteReally like how your quilt turned out, Wendy. I like the idea of using the preprinted panel fabric--as opposed to spending weeks or months piecing and appliqueing a seasonal quilt. I think the sashing turned out great too. (*And* I love the pumpkin backing.)
ReplyDeleteLove the fall quilt. Looks so nice. Boo reminds me of our kitty Rocky. He was always in my fabric or on my quilts!!
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking of making a red and white quilt someday. Your fall quilt looks wonderful. And I love the peek a the little girl body on the quilt under boo!
ReplyDeleteLove the quilting on your fall quilt, Wendy. It was a perfect choice.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Your fall quilt is just beautiful! I love the pumpkin quilting on it! :0)
ReplyDeleteHi! Greetings from Finland! I love that quilt! It's so stunning! IT's so nice to find toher quilters from different countries! :)
ReplyDeleteShoo Boo! The quilt looks great.
ReplyDeleteAha...explains why there are cat hairs on everything I do. Made me smile...aren't we lucky that our wonderful little friends enjoy our needlework as much as we do. I really enjoyed my visit to your blog.
ReplyDeleteDon't you love when you "finish"? I have so many things I need to finish! It's out of control down there in my sewing area. I mean a MESS!
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt and the project Boo is on too.
Hugs!!
Perfect for fall. Love it.
ReplyDeleteNice information, many thanks to the author. It is incomprehensible to me now, but in general, the usefulness and significance is overwhelming. Thanks again and good luck!!!
