Just a few of the many bags I use for various projects. Abyquilt has posted a challenge to show off your bags, a girl can never have too many.....right?. Oh I just realized I'm missing a picture, well that will have to be for another post. I use my bags for carrying stitchery, notions, applique and when I go on a trip I grab one for my toiletry bag.
The brown one at the top I use a lot for carrying my stitchery projects, it just might be my favourite. Abyquilt's post has inspired me to finish a project bag sitting around for a while and start working on a new one or two.
I just had to show off these gorgeous flowers given to me by a sweet friend. Thanks Linda, these have brightened my week so much.
How many bags do you have? I know I'm missing a few from these pictures.
Happy Quilting!

ReplyDeleteYou have some lovely bags that you've made! I just made my first bag - a big tote bag. It wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be, so now I'm looking around for other patterns I'd like to make. I saw a duffle bag on another blog, and that might be the next challenge.
ReplyDeleteLove your bag collection. Good to hear you use them all too. They are irresistible small projects.
ReplyDeleteI love bags!! Yours are all very cute. The flowers are beautiful!! What a nice friend.
ReplyDeleteHi Wendy, Which pattern did you use for the bag in the first photo made from 1930s fabrics? I really love it and would like to make one.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Shontelle.

ReplyDeleteI totally love the Canada Day quilt. I would love to make one. Are the flags half square triangles? If so - I think I can make it without a pattern. Stop by my Ebay Quilt shop one day....I am in Big Blue Sky Alberta and have ooodles of customers in BC cause shipping to Canadians is so cheap.
