Something is finished.....finally. I spent sometime on the weekend working on this bag. There is quiet a bit of hand sewing to do with this purse. Now it's ready for me to fill up and start using. This is the front, there are two pockets outside for keys and cell phone.
Don't know why this picture is extra big. Here is the inside of the purse. It has one large compartment with a side pocket. The bag zips closed at the top. I like my purses to have zippers to keep everything safe.
A side view of the gusset, do you see the zipper pull?
And the back of the purse is pieced with two different fabrics. I think it adds more interest. This was a class by Agnes Quilts, she has some wonderful designs and is a fantastic teacher. Her finishing techniques are worth the price of taking a class.
Happy Quilting.
