I finished the quilting on the tree runner this week and worked on the binding yesterday. I like how it looks on the table. I'm undecided about what kind of a center piece would work. You can find the free pattern on The Shabby Fabrics blog.
A little stitched pillow I made last year. I'll be doing more Christmas project stitching this weekend.
Have you done your decorating for Christmas?
Happy Decorating!

Love! And thanks for the link to the tree pattern! I'm heading there now...
I LOVE the runner!!!!
What a terrific runner!
My two cents... I'd put a simple branch of greenery just off the runner with a bit of red or gold ribbon trailing out along the sides of the table. Maybe one pillar candle in the middle of it. Don't cover the runner much though. Love the runner! Of course it would have to be moved during meals. Love your table too!
Love the runner, Wendy. Really adorable.
And, of course, the pillow is very sweet. Love it!
Such a cute runner you made... thanks for sharing the link. I've already printed the pattern, although it will probably be a project for next year!
The runner and stitchery are so nice. I think it would be good to keep the decos simple so that the runner can be appreciated. No use hiding it beneath a lot of stuff. I have been finishing off some Christmas projects ready to hang and put on the table. Some are on my blog. Enjoy your stitching.
Great decorations! I especially love the redwork stitchery pillow. I finally got my tree up and decorated.

I made that Tree table runner last year and was going to quilt it for this year but I can't find it anywhere. I'm sure to find it later after Christmas is long over. Love your Christmas projects.
Absolutely love your runner! And super cute pillow.
The pillow is cute but I really love that quilt!
Thank you for the good advice ... it's very nice to read you ... ..and ...... instructive.
