Le Jardin

It's been a long time working on these blocks. I loved every minute, almost sad I won't be working on the bunnies, baskets, flowers and pretty things. It's the French General fabrics that really make this quilt. The borders still need to go on and then how to quilt this one. I've never hand quilted but looking at this quilt gives me the urge to start. Haven't made up my mind.

Happy Quilting.

  1. It's gorgeous Wendy! Not much is better in a quilt than bunnies, birds, and baskets... especially in French General!

  8. Absolutely stunning! You have done a fantastic job. Go on, give it a go! You could hand quilt it around the appliques and just do very simple quilting so you don't detract from the awesome blocks.
