New BOM
I've seen a few free block of the months popping up in blogland. I've taken a liking to Bunnyhill's new BOM called "A Tisket A Tasket" twevle months of baskets. Darlene has already done her basket, and Anne has done her's in wool, both are very cute. Another BOM I found but haven't started yet is Gail Pan's "A Christmas Wish" stitchery, I love stitchery and I think this is something I could finish each month. Both have links on my side bar.
I had a fun weekend hanging out with my youngest daughter, she is a ferry ride away and it's such a treat to get over to visit her. We did some sewing together, she wanted me to show her how to make a bag. We didn't have enough time to finish it, so next time we get together will finish the bag.
I love yours! Love the red basket. I bought my background fabric and am ready to start this.
ReplyDeleteYour block looks great. I am waiting for my background fabric to arrive which is good because I get to see what fabric choices everyone else is making!
ReplyDeleteYour snowman block is darling! That looks like a fun quilt to make. I love the red and green quilt that you "whipped up" for Christmas! Nice job! Oh my goodness--all that snow! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteYour BOM is adorable! I've worked on mine for a bit today. I'm doing wool and trying to use what I already have. Maybe this evening while football is on I can finish it up and post it.
ReplyDeleteWendy, your block is adorable!! I love your color/fabric choices. I downloaded the pattern but haven't had a chance to pick fabrics yet. I really like your leaves, too! I think the polka dot is very charming as is the plaid. Did you send Anne a pic of your block? Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on your block! I love the combination of colors, and it looks so COZY!
ReplyDeleteI just love this BOM! I like how yours turned out. I hope to get it done this week. Once you're organized it doesn't take very long at all.
ReplyDeleteThis is just wonderful! I love the colours you chose and that basket fabric if perfect - it looks woven! Thanks again for emailing the red & green quilt measurements.
