I had big plans to have this quilt finished by now. Things happened and so the quilt didn't get done. I've got all the blocks pieced and now ready for putting it all together. I just love this fabric (Flower Sugar), I found it on
Daisy Cottage Quilting site and just had to have some. I'm using the pattern from Schnibbles book called Bennington (below), the large version, it goes quickly with the big blocks. It's a very happy summery quilt.
And then I'm also thinking of fall, it's coming soon. I love the fall colours. A friend and I are making this together for another dear friend and we both love it so much we decided to make one for ourselves. The maple leaf block came from this
site, it's block 4 of a bigger quilt.
I have big plans to get both of these projects done very soon, wish me luck.

ReplyDeleteThe Fall leaves are so pretty they remind me of when we used to find leaves and put them between waxed paper and a book. Did you do that too??
