Christmas Through the Year

Table runner by Cotton Way ready for gift giving, finished the binding last night. But before it's given away this table runner will serve as a sample for the quilt shop I work at. The way the pattern is designed the stitchery is part of the back of the runner, I've made it the front instead. I wouldn't put this lovely stitched writing on the back......would you? I'm ready for the Darlene's August Christmas Train coming soon.

Happy Stitching!

Oh, I'd have wanted the stitching on the front, too! Who sees the BACK of a table runner?? Nice job!

Very cute with the writing (on the front of course). How about a pic so we can see the whole thing. Thanks!

I love it Wendy. I have that table runner kit and haven't made it yet. I agree the Merry Christmas fancy letters are too pretty to be on the back.

I really like that runner: I need one, too. I might put the embroidery on the back if I was going to make it reversible.

I haven't seen that pattern - I really like the embroidery you added to the front and I may have to make one...well, maybe two! :)

So nice for Christmas, are you saying that the fabric was printed? Looks great as part of the front. What pattern is it?
