Happy Thanksgiving

 
Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends. I've made the cranberry sauce, my daughter is making the pumpkin pie today and soon the house will smell of delicious turkey.
 
A cute fabric pumpkin I made yesterday to decorate the table for fall. Thank you Linda for the kit and pattern to make this adorable pumpkin.....I love it!

    I didn't know Canadian Thanksgiving Day is in October. Your Prim Pinwheel quilt and pumpkin look perfect on the cozy table.

    Turkey aroma fills the house as I type. Another hour or so and we'll be all together for dinner :)))). My aunt and uncle live on 2 nd st. In New Westminster..their son, my cousin is the M.P. for the area, Peter Julian. Sound familiar? I was born in Burnaby but now live outside Toronto. Just found your blog today...what fun. Happy Thanksgiving.

    Have a lovely and enjoyable Thanksgiving dinner. Your menu sounds JUST RIGHT. I am looking forward to our American T Day in November! I just love the big traditional turkey dinner.
    I have a pattern and the template to make a twister quilt as you have in the photo. Haven't tried it yet but I need to. Yours is great!

    Happy Thanksgiving Day, Wendy. I almost always forget the your Thanksgiving Day and Columbus Day in the U.S. is the same day. I'm pretty sure I'd rather have two Thanksgiving days!
    (I've been thinking about pumpkin too. Downloaded a free book of pumpkin recipes from Amazon last night!)
