Not much exciting going on with me these days, except for struggling with having no energy. I don't know what's going on, I'm really fighting taking naps. They say you should listen to your body and take a nap if needed, but lately I feel like I could nap several times a day. The days are sunny and I've been doing more gardening, maybe it's just the adjustment between winter and summer.
Here is a little peek at a new quilt I've been working on. The fabrics are bright and the black really adds contrast.
I love working on the Bunny Hill BOM, April basket is done. The little fat chick makes me laugh.
Happy Stitching. Thanks for dropping by.
Look exciting..:o)
ReplyDeleteAnd wow all the four finished.. think I need to think these blocks over... maybe I could get them done a little bit faster making as stitchery blocks.. ;o) Perhaps not..:o)
I'm liking your new project; but you knew I would. LOL
ReplyDeleteHey, I resemble that 'fat chick'. LOL
Love the blocks - that fabric with the black looks terrific. Those blocks done in redwork are so pretty. Sounds like some time in the sun - after such a cold winter will improve things.
ReplyDeleteWow, those bright fabrics are not what I would expect to see on this blog!!! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the new project! Hope you get feeling chipper soon. Take car of yourself.
ReplyDeleteOkay missy, call your doctor and have her check your thyroid level. That's the juice that makes us GO! Without it you are slow, and tired, and you forget everything.
ReplyDeleteLove the blocks too!! Now call the doctor!
I really like your new project, Wendy! I hope you get to feeling more energetic soon - I agree with you - for me it sure is the adjustment between seasons this year!

The new quilt blocks are fantastic. Black is such a great contrasting fabric. Your version of Bunny Hill's Bom is terrific.
ReplyDeleteAny chance you have allergies? I do, and I get really tired in the spring when everything's blooming.
ReplyDeleteThe Bunny Hill blocks look really cute in redwork, I might have to make one like that. I'm making mine with fabrics, but I like the ones I've seen in wool, too. I may end up with three bunny quilts!
I like your new project Wendy. And your doing great with the baskets.
ReplyDeleteListen to your tired little body and give it a nap or two.
Very nice Wendy. I have a few pieces from that collection. The black if wonderful with it. Also, your redwork is coming along nicely.
