My signature block (forgot to take a picture, I was playing with other colour combinations) is on it's way to Australia to be made into a raffle quilt for Breast Cancer Research. It only takes a few minutes to make one and it's for a good cause, Linda from Quilts In The Barn raised over 10,000 last year. You still have time, the deadline to mail is Monday May 18th.
The borders are coming along nicely, I still need to cut and add more squares.
Something else I've been working on is hexagons for a little purse. These are 3/4" hexagons, boy are they tiny. I have them all connected and ready to start the purse. Another thing I've got to finish are the churn dash blocks for a swap. One more month and I can start making the quilt. Haven't decided what the setting will be yet.....I'm open to ideas, the blocks are 6" finished and done in civil war and shirting fabrics. The borders are coming along nicely, I still need to cut and add more squares.
Off to see a quilt show today and working the booth. Happy Quilting!

Nice hexagons, I love making the hexagons, that's going to be the cutest purse. Love your pink/brown borders. Have a great time at the Quilt Show, take pictures.
Your borders look so nice. I can't wait to see them on your top. Hugs
Those Borders are looking good - my rrcb got abandoned as once I put a block together I just thought - yeuch - I never got round to making the string blocks though. I LOVE the blue fabric in your little block. Have a lovely weekendxx
Those borders are looking so good. Lots of cutting and piecing but well worth it! I still hope to make the Roll Cotton Boll quilt.
The churn dash blocks sound lovely!

You have been busy. I love the tiny hexagons but I am sure they are a challenge.
I will make sure I look for your block Wendy when I go to the Exhibition. It was a quick and easy block to make wasn't it.
I love your hexagons, your purse is going to be so pretty.
Hope you enjoyed the quilt show. Any pictures to share? The hexagon purse looks so cool.

I bought that hexagon purse pattern in Australia! I haven't started mine yet tho. Can't wait to see yours!
Many thanks Wendy for making a block for our raffle quilt. l will keep an eye on the mail box for its arrival.
Those little hexies are too cute!!
I love how your signature block turned out. Must be the colors and fabric you chose!
Roll roll cotton boll is coming along beautifully!
Maybe try setting the turn dash blocks on point. Since they are only 6'' finished. I'm not sure how many blocks you will have total for your project, but I think it could look really nice on point. Good luck with what ever you decide to do. :0) Hope you had a great time at the quilt show!
