I stitched up this bunny in red pants pulling a chick in an egg cart from Red Brolly free patterns. It's prefect for holding Easter candy.
Some progress on the Swoon blocks, I was hoping to have them all done this week but we've had the best spring weather and it was time to get out in the garden. After gardening I'm pretty tired and don't get in my sewing room. Only three more blocks.....I'm really loving how it's turning out.
Have a great Easter weekend.
Love your Swoon blocks and your Easter stitchery couldn't be cuter!
ReplyDeleteI love your Swoon blocks, and the Easter stitchery. I have downloaded a bunch of free patterns from Red Brolly - they are all so cute.
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous of your garden time! Our snow is melting, but very slowly. I'm really anxious to get back to gardening. It's mud season now; with a dog, that's one of my least favorite seasons and one that I hope passes quickly.
I love your Swoon blocks too! That pattern has been on my hit list for a while, but I'm still deciding on fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous of your garden time. We've barely warmed up here. It will be 50 today, but we're suppose to get cold again next week. I wish that it would warm up!!

ReplyDeleteI love the Swoon blocks too. They are coming along really nicely. You obviously enjoy making them. I recognised that Easter basket as being Red Brolly's as soon as I saw it. You have done a lovley job. I am pleased to hear that the weather is good so you can get out into the garden. It is good for the soul getting your hands into the earth and growing things.
