Trip to LQS
I couldn't resist picking up a jellie roll at my LQS. Of course then I need some coordinates to go with it. I found a really nice stripe that wasn't part of the line but had complimentary colours. The floral is also not part of the line but it all works together. On my drive home I was thinking about what pattern to use and I came up with an idea of my own to incorporate the stripe as well. Now when do I have time to do this quilt??? Well after the reno's and kitchen are done I guess. I feel like I'm creating more UFO's without finishing the one's I've already started. Aaarrg, as if I don't have enough to do...I guess it's not technically a UFO until you start cutting the fabric...right? Whew I'm off the hook for now.
Off to paint the kitchen...I'm on my last coat. It's a very big kitchen with lots of fiddly areas to cut-in.

BEAUTIFUL choice ! And, by the way, don't worry : I feel exactly the same right now : it seems ages since I finished a quilt, I can resist a new project, I'm like "the frog who wanted to eat a beef" ! LOL
Smiles !

Love that jelly roll.....is that Sanctuary by Moda?? By the way, the baskets are wonderful.......they are one of my favorite motifs for quilting. I did some embroidered basket blocks for a quilt....still have to get it together. Another one of my many UFOs.
Oh,I have that Jelly Roll and have yet to decide on a project. Just when I think I've made up my mind - poof - I change it. LOL
BTW, my Grandma's Album (aka Apple Pie) is a Moda University pattern. Let me know if you need additional information.
Look at it this way . . . you already have your reward for working so hard on the renovation project.
Love those fabrics!! How can u resist not cutting up and playing with them?? lol I cant wait to see what u have in store for them!!....as for too many UFO's,how can we help it???....we r lovers of the art of quilting and its not our fault that our capablilites cant keep up with our creativity!!! lol
pretty, pretty, pretty fabrics! You will have fun putting those together!
I think the UFO's are reproducing on their own when no one is looking? Very pretty fabrics - can't wait to see what you've come up with.
Ooooh pretty. Can't wait to see what you make with it!
Very pretty fabric. I have yet to buy a jelly roll. I always seem to be a little behind the times.
I think so long as it has not been cut into -- but there is a plan -- it is called a PIGS. LOL
Have fun painting!
Those fabrics are to die for. Great choice. Its not unfinished its unstarted, there is a difference.:-)
Oh your UFO is lovely, but I think you may be right - I think the yellow border isn't going to be right. YOu may need to change it. And I LOVE your BOF block!
