Primitive Gatherings

I've been working on the Primitive Gatherings sew along. The wool applique center is the first part and the pieced border is the second part. I'm looking forward to seeing what's next for this project.
Found this little antique quilt at the local Vintage Market. It's worn and tattered and has vintage buttons and lace sewn on by the person I bought it from. I love the pink fabric in this quilt.

You can find me on Instagram to see more pictures.

Great News

The local quilt shop where I work has a new name "Stitch and Bobbin" and a new owner "Stephanie". I'm beyond excited and I get to keep my job! This is so exciting, I'm looking forward to what changes are yet to come.
I finished this little quilt from the book Simply Fat Quarters. The blocks are very easy and the fabrics make a nice statement in the kitchen.
I've also been busy doing a bit of painting, I wish I took a before picture. The paint is called Cottage Paint and doesn't need sanding or any kind of prep before painting. This piece still needs a light coat of wax.

Happy Quilting!
