Store Sample

I help out at my local quilt shop a couple times a month but don't make too many samples anymore mainly because I have so many of my own projects I want to do. Since I was spending the whole day on Friday at the shop I started this sweet little quilt using a charm pack by Moda (A Little Romance by April Cornell). The pattern is by Miss Rosie's Quilt Co, called Four Corners. The entire top is only 33"x33", so I was able to finish it this morning. The scalloped quilt you see in the picture is not part of the quilt.

What a sweet quilt, and how nice to be able to start and finish a top in one day. I've forgotten what that's like *s*

"...The scalloped quilt you see in the picture is not part of the quilt." Ahh, but it would be unbelievably sweet if it WERE :-)

Maybe after it's hung in the store as a top, you can finish it with the scalloped border? Oooohhh, aaaaah!

A really pretty quilt. How many charm packs did you need? I agree, a scalloped border would show it off beautifully.

That's such a lovely little quilt. The pattern and the fabrics work very well together. (Darn! Another cute idea for my over-full mind!)

The scalloped border does go with it, even though it's not part of it. Very pretty, and looks like a nice fabric line.

What a sweet and springy quilt. Sounds like it was quick sew as well and now you have one project just about finished. Sometimes these smaller quilts take just as long as a bigger quilt. I do like a scalloped border around it - adds to the sweetness. Of course now I want to see the quilt underneath, LOL.
