Firstly, I would like to say a "heartfelt thank you" for all your sweet, kind and supportive words. I appreciate each and every comment and feel so much love from everyone.
I made some blackberry/raspberry jam on the weekend. The blackberries were picked by my youngest daughter and her boyfriend and the raspberries came from my back yard. I love homemade jam and try to make some every year. Since I didn't have enough of either berry, we now have a mixed berry jam which is an excellent combination. Oh....buttered toast and jam is so delicious.
As promised here is the pumpkin quilt I've been working on. The pattern can be found in this book by the Joined at the Hip ladies, the book has some great folk art patterns. I'm not sure how I'll quilt it or where I'll hang it yet. I sure love the colours of fall especially when pumpkins start coming out. Happy Fall!!

We have not been blackberrying this year as the weather has been awful, but I do love homemade jam - delish!
Love your pumpkin quilt. You are always up to something great!
Fresh berries are the best, but fresh jam is better! I love it on scones!! MMMMM.....my mouth is watering. The pumpkin quilt is really pretty and perfect for the fall.
absolutely love it!
Toast and jam, jam and toast - I think that's part of a song from Sound of Music or maybe not, LOL. Anyway it sounds yummy and looks so pretty in the picture. I used to make jam years ago - should try my hand at it again. Oh I love that pumpkin quilt - very very cute.
Sending you hugs sweet friend
Karen

Beautiful quilt! I love it :o)
The jam looks soooo yummy. I'll be thinking about you at breakfast tomorrow when I have plain old toast with butter.
Yum, raspberry is my big time favorite. Your fall/autumn quilt is so very cute, your background fabric choices are wonderful.
Great wallhanging! Oh homemade jam...something I've never done. Homemade is best.
Double YUM! HMMMMMM!
Mmmmmmm, that jam sounds yummy! I made peach/raspberry this year. It turned our really good. Do you make freezer jam or regular cooked jam? I love homemade jam on toast or warm bread, fresh from the oven!
Cuuuuuuuute quilt! Are you going to big stitch quilt it?
Sounds really Yummy! Love the pumpkin quilt too! Just perfect for the season!
The jam looks and sounds lovely and the stuffed berries make the perfect accessory :) I've never made jam but my mother used to make it. Your post brings back memories of blackberrying in the country lanes near where we lived in the 1970's.
YUMMERS! I'm on my way for toast and jam! LOL! Love your pumpkin quilt.

The jam looks so good - and lucky you to have raspberries right in your back yard. I just made peach jam - one day I'll make a combination jam like yours.

So sorry to read about the loss of your quilting friend Jenny.
