It's been awhile since I've been able to post. My husband thought it was a good idea to remove the tool that allows me to upload pictures. He said it made the computer faster by removing it, well the whole exercise had slowed me down. Anyway all is fixed again. I've finished a little Schnibbles quilt called "Little Red", mine doesn't look anything like the pattern, the fabrics are from the Moda's Patisserie line. I used one charm pack with some extra yardage. I machine quilted this on my home machine.
Here is the quilt from my last post all quilted and bound. I rented time on a long-arm machine here. It's been a really good learning experience working with the long-arm. Lee the shop owner is very helpful when I needed her to step in to keep my on track. There are many steps to follow to get a quilt done. I certainly want to do more.

Great job on the machine quilting! And I love your Little Red quilt. Nice pattern.
Oh I love your Little Red and your star quilt is awesome...great job on the longarm!
Hi Wendy
You've done a great job with the quilting on the long arm. I tried playing around with a long arm once and it was really REALLY hard. It would take so much practice for me to do anything good on one. Congratulations for doing such a good job!!
Lots of pretties on your posts. I caught up with my reading here and must say, I absolutely love that Christmas BOM. Your long arm quilting looks very nice too - was that your first time to use a long arm? Its looks professionally done to me.
Nice job, Wendy. I have an HQ-16 and agree that learning this is a challenge (and most humbling), so am impressed with your quilting. The "Little Red" color choices are divine!
Love the quilts and the quilting! There is a shop in McMinnville, OR that teaches people how to use the long arm quilter & rents time out. I'm hoping to use it someday (if/when we move to OR).
Your quilts are wonderful...can't decide which I like better as I like both so darned much!
Great job on the quilting, Wendy!
Both quilts are beautiful.
Both are wonderful.. Schinibbles are fun to make...and they quilting on the other one is lovely.. was it fun to use the longarm???
Your star quilt is beautiful. You must be so proud to have it all done.
I wish I could quilt on my little machine, but it is too old and not equipped for that kind of sewing. You did a beautiful job on the little one too. Congratulations for all your hard work.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Karen
Don't you just love when they decide to "help" us out? Last time hubby wiped out everything on our computer when he "helped" me.
Both quilts turned out lovely! Great job!
I love both of these. The long arm quilting looks great. Nice job. I don't know if I'll ever try it. Too intimidating for me.
Beautiful quilts!! And I love your quilting!! I can't wait till you share your reindeer stitcheries. Take care!

Your Little Red in Patisserie is adorable and you did a great job quilting it too!
That's so pretty Wendy. I haven't seen it in person yet.
How fun to be able to rent some time of a long arm, I bet it was a blast to do. Great job, your quilting is wonderful.
Your star quilt is just lovely and a big congrats for quilting it yourself - looks really good - hurray !
How fun to be able to rent time using a long arm. I've never heard of that! The quilting looks really wonderful. Love your little quilt too:)
Great quilting and both quilts are gorgeous :-)
Awesome, Wendy! I love both quilts and the quilting is outstanding! Enjoy.
I really love your star's quilts it's so beautiful.

Oh I love your star quilt! And you did such a great job on the long arm! I"ve tried it and I cannot do it at all. I struggle big time!
Get job on the quilting. I love the little red.
Don't you just love it when hubbies do things to make life easier without asking if that’s what we would like first? This is one of the reasons I got my own laptop a few years ago.
Oooh, I love that big quilt -- you did a fantastic job with the longarm. I sure wish we had one around here that we could rent time on!
Great long arm work. You seem to be an old pro at it. I just love that quilt!
You Schnibbles is so cute, Wendy! Wish I had time to join in the fun! And way to go on your machine quilting - I can just see you snuggling into your quilt with the cool fall evenings just coming!
Cheers!
I have the Schnibbles Little Red pattern but haven't made the quilt yet. Yours makes me want to want to finally make it too. I'll let you know if I get around to it. Right now I'm getting ready to make the Schnibbles X Rated quilt.
What fun to spend time quilting on a long arm - and look at the wonderful results!
Excellent quilting, That's a good idea hiring out the longarm.
I use flannel for backs as well and I live in FL!!! Nothing like cuddling up with flannel......
LOVE the quilts! Gorgeous!
Very nice quilts. And you did a great job on the quilting. I just found out that one of our quilt shops is renting a machine to those that want to do it themselves. I might have to give it a try.
LOVE IT Wendy!! Nice job on the quilting too.
Both quilts are lovely .... but I am especially drawn to your star quilt and your quiting is gorgeous!
I really like your Schnibble quilt ... the Patisserie fabrics are lovely.
Congratulations for your site! Really, it's great and as I saw in the first posts it's true that sharing and site interface are really a boon to work style. Really a big thank you!
