Almost Done Halloween Quilt

All the rows are sewn together, a couple more things to do. The orange and black borders to add and small button eyes for the bats and spiders. The pattern called for chenille yarn for the spider legs, I used a funky stitch on my machine and I'm happy with how it turned out. Next this quilt will be a sample for a few weeks at this shop (Jenny you better get those kits ready) and then it'll be a gift for my daughter, she loves Halloween decorating. I want to give her a surprise gift for all the hard work she's been doing at college. She just started a 2 year program on Child and Youth Development and loves it.

Awesome, Wendy! I just love the colors and the horizontal rows rather than traditional blocks.

Your daughter will love it, I'm sure.

This is a wonderful quilt! The colors and design. Everything. Your spider legs are creative. I love Halloween quilts. I have used up so much of my oranges but this is a tempting quilt.
