Home Tour and Winter Wishes

Where have I been you say....well it's been really boring around my house lately....not much of anything happening....my sewing room has been sitting idle way too long....no sewing going on....just a wee bit of stitching. Wouldn't you love your table to be so prefect for your holiday feast. In my neighbourhood there is a "Holiday Home Tour", this table setting was in one of the homes....isn't it just stunning. Look at the real candles burning on the iron chandelier above the table....yes those candles are REAL and they are lit as well. I didn't get many other good pictures...I was too busy looking around and having a great time touring though beautifully decorated homes.

Yesterday I made this yummy delicious....oh so good Crunchy Maple Corn....I used the largest roasting pan I have and it was full yesterday.....this little bowl is all that remains today. You can try this same recipe over here....watch out I'm warning you.... it's very addicting. I also finished this little Winter Wishes stitchery to add to my holiday decorating, the pattern came from over here.

Have a great day, thanks for stopping by.

That home look lovely. I did the candle thing one night and my husband come home and blow the candle out and put the light on. So i have not done it since. I just love your pillow he is so cute..

Yum - maple corn! May have to try that! Love the redwork pillow, too. And that table tooks too nice to eat on. Do some people's houses actually look that nice? Where's the dog hair, the shoe someone somehow lost under the table, the accidental crayon marks on the wall? What about the mismatched dishes because part of the set got dropped or chipped or lost? Is that only my house?

That room is beautiful. I love the candle chandelier. Your pillow is so cute.

I would make the Maple Corn, but I'm afraid I would eat it all so I have to wait on it. My waistline is still yelling at me for the past week!

I was supposed to do a home tour with my sister this weekend but instead got tickets to go see the Nutcracker. I really wanted to go on the tour too but both fell on the same day. Dang it.
I love that hanging chandelier with the candles. Very cute.
Love the pillow too. Gotta try your crunchy popcorn I guess. lol If I must.

As I looked at that picture of the dinning area, I thought to myself "self, wouldn't you love you dinning room to look like that?" I sure would! We are planning on renovating next year, the living room and dinning room! I guess you can say we're going all out! lol I love candles and have them all over my home! I light them too! Although it would be impractical to have candle holders for light over the dinning table, it is gorgeous!

Love that pillow! How cute! Thanks for sharing! Cheers!
