My Favourite Things

I'm really enjoying the book "Somekind of Wonderful". I'm working on the quilt in the book called "My Favourite Things" and boy this quilt is adorable. These blocks have simple applique with a little bit of stitchery.

These are very scrappy blocks, my favourite type of quilts. Other blocks in the quilt include a cat, ice cream, wooden chair, chocolates......so many fun applique blocks.

Cup of tea block, I drink tea every morning.

A comfy pair of jeans, can't do without these. It's a start and I'm prepping more blocks this week.

Happy Quilting.

I will be back to see how this progresses... the jeans make me envious of my teenage figure, but the cuppa tea reminds me it is just as nice to set down and have a sip... Which is what I am going to do right now!
