Simple Quilt

I've been doing a little bit of this and that. I love my little Lori Smith applique block. There will be one of these each month from Lori's Quilt Squares.....at least that's the plan today.....we'll see how it goes. This one is the 12" block pattern #10.

This very simple lap size quilt I've been sewing a bit at a time over the last few months. I like this one because of the soft colours of pinks, blues, reds and grey. The blocks look simple but I think there was 5 different blocks to make with changes in placement of fabrics. It should have been easy.....right.....well that's what it would appear until I made a few cutting mistakes....Thankfully I recovered and the top is finished.

A friend has named this one the "Romantic" quilt, I might call it "Simply Romantic".

And then there is a little redwork mixed in, I'm hooked on these Sunbonnet Sue blocks.
I also finished quilting and binding this K Fassett quilt, just need to get some pictures. That's it for now.

Happy Quilting.

I love the Sunbonnet Sue stitcheries, especially since you have at least a few of them done.

I have the patterns too but there are other projects ahead of it! Baskets in green, a Halloween runner, you name it!

Have fun with it!

I love your lap quilt. The colours are so pretty. Is it 3 sisters fabric? It reminds me of their fabric. I buy so much of it!

Adorable applique block! Are you making a little quilt each month, or will you be combining all the blocks into one quilt?

Love quilts but I profess to being a stitchery fiend. I have those patterns but have yet to stitch them up. I may be waiting for word of the first great grand child in my family. Two of the grands are married and one is getting married so I may soon be stitching my fingers off!!
