Stitching

I'm back working on my stitchery blocks for Ruby's Garden, I started these a while ago. And now want to get it finished into a quilt. There are 12 stitched blocks that alternate with something like a Irish Chain block.

I'm almost finished block eleven and then I have one more to go and I'm finished all the stitching. I'm thinking the Irish Chain block would be a green instead of the dark blue in the picture below but I'm still undecided so anything could happen.

Happy Quilting!

Sweet stitchery. I hadn't seen this pattern before. Is it a downloadable pattern. I just finished a big stitching project and would love to do something small like this.

It's a great hand work project! Then the setting of pieced blocks really sets it off nicely. So cute...brings out that inner little girl in me! Where to find pattern?

Those stitcheries are very cute! I may have to look up that pattern. You're right, I would go with a nice lighter colour for the chain pieces too, maybe even a nice purpley blue like the flowers in the first picture? Dark colours would be too heavy I think.

I would light a nice green to echo the garden theme. Lovely work!

This was such a fun quilt to do. Both the stitchery and piecing. Thanks for reminding me that I need to get mine on my Gammill!

What lovely stitcheries! I haven't seen that particular pattern before. I love the background fabrics you have chosen too. Being a stitchery buff myself I really appreciate the work you have put into it all. It is going to look awesome when it is completed.

Oh.... lovely! I better get my behind moving. My blocks have been done for an eternity, but I just haven't pieced the quilt! Love how your blocks turned out! Thanks for sharing! Cheers!

Such sweet little blocks and I think that setting for them would be great. I have that pattern as well - great inspiration to get mine out sometime in the near future.
