Stitching

The last week has just flown by. I've had very little time for cruising the blogs the last couple of weeks as well. I need to check around the blogs and see what everyone has been doing....I miss you guys.

I've done a little stitching, Gail Pan blocks are completed and Bunnyhill redwork I'm working on catching up. Slowly I've been working at my star blocks I talked about here. I really want to get this one finished but seem to be getting interrupted somehow. The Halloween quilt is off to the long-arm quilter. I know she'll do something really nice with the quilting and then it will go to my daughter.

I've completed another quilt on the long-arm rental at this shop. Still need to get a picture so I can post about it. The quilt is for my other daughter and done with much brighter fabrics. She'll get that one for Christmas.

Until next time.

Wendy, those little stitcheries are just too cute. And even though you don't quite yet have pictures to show of the quilts, I am sure they are just beautiful!

You've been both busy and productive, Wendy. Isn't it a great feeling to cross out another item on the 'to do' list!

Love your background fabric for your blocks. Looks like you will have it done in time to hang for Christmas.

I have the Gail Pan blocks traced onto fabric, and that is as far as it has gone. I actually did it for my mom to have some handwork to do while in rehab, but I think she is going to give them back to me. Time will tell. Yours look very nice, I like the background fabric you chose.

Wendy - for some reason I lost your blog from my list and haven't been by to visit for a while. My loss. I love your stitcheries - the Christimas one looks very interesting and your halloween quilt is so much fun to see. The spiders are oh-so-scary! Boo!

Hi Wendy! I have one left to finish and then I need to get moving on the sashing and borders so it can be used this Christmas!

Plus I need to start on the newer Cheri sticheries for that quilt class you took too! Lots to stitch!

Another blog friend did those Gail pan blocks, too, and I think they are just exquisite. Sometimes the simplest things are the most beautiful. Great job - I look forward to seeing your finished product.

Love the faded snowflake background fabric that you used.
Do you remember the designer or manufacturer of it? So lovely!
