LA Shop Hop Part 2

I'm back AGAIN!....the day after my last post I was off on another road trip, this time a 3 hour drive to Tacoma for the Innovations Machine Quilters Conference. This was my first time to the conference and I had an amazing time and enjoyed all the classes I took. I'm definately going back again next year.

So now back to my LA shop hop. The second day of my stay in Burbank I decided I could handle a longer trip to Temecula. The Olde Town of Temecula has many antique shops, specialty shops and garden shops, it's a tourist delight for sure. But my main reason for picking this Olde Town was to stop at Quilters Coop. I spent a lot of time here, you'll see from the pictures why. I hope you enjoy them.

They had everything, reproductions, wool, homespun's, brights, batiks, Christmas, it was all here in one beautiful shop.

All the displays were done very nice.

Lots and lots of quilt sample everywhere in the shop.

We all love our scraps.

More lovely displays, this shop was wonderful. I spent a long time here, did I say that already....

Isn't she adorable, I'd love to take this girl home, it was difficult to resist.

The wool display has so many wonderful patterns and wool.

Would you just love to display a quilt on this bench....I love it.

Most of the town had wooden walk ways around the shops. I really wished I had more time in this town but I had my list of shops to find and I needed to get back to Burbank in time to pick up my hard working hubby.

Isn't this fun, the Open sign is printed on the back of garden shovels.

Aren't these stocking made with antique quilts just so cute.
I hope you enjoyed this part of my shop hop, I'll be back with pictures from more shops I visited....very soon.

Happy Quilting.

LOVE the pictures. I would love to know or see a website for the patterns with the stitching/sayings on them. I can see from the photo the company is called Simply Put but I googled it and no luck. I would LOVE to make a couple things for our church mission trip fundraiser. Any idea on locating the company?

My quilting friends just did a trip to Temecula as well. I just have to go. Planned to coordinate with the Road to California show, but I think I need to go ASAP. Thanks for sharing the photos.

You are making me itch to go to the Quilters Coop. If it wasn't for my budget, I would be on the freeway now. LOL!

I almost made a trip to Temecula this week. Dang it I wish I knew you were going to be there, we could have met up :) I LOVE Quilter's Coop! There are two other shops there that you would love too...The Wool Lady and The Temecula Quilt Company, did you visit either one of those? Sounds like you had a fun shop hop!

Wendy I am so impressed how well you did maneuvering the CA freeway system. Definitely not for the faint hearted! I agree with Ginger Patches regarding Temecula Quilt Co. Where were they many years ago when I walked the streets and antique stores with my Mom? No Quilt shop at the time as far as I know. You hit some of the best. You might want to try Country Loft next time. One of my favorites.

I'm thrilled to see photos of the Temecula shop. I haven't been there yet, but my mom -- who lives down that way -- has many times.

Old Towne Temecula is throwing a big quilt show next Saturday, October 2nd. I'm taking my mom for her birthday...will share pics.

Temecula also has the bonus of being a wine producing town. Quilts and wine. What more could a gal want?
