The local quilt shop where I work has a new name "Stitch and Bobbin" and a new owner "Stephanie". I'm beyond excited and I get to keep my job! This is so exciting, I'm looking forward to what changes are yet to come.
I finished this little quilt from the book Simply Fat Quarters. The blocks are very easy and the fabrics make a nice statement in the kitchen.

I've also been busy doing a bit of painting, I wish I took a before picture. The paint is called Cottage Paint and doesn't need sanding or any kind of prep before painting. This piece still needs a light coat of wax.
Happy Quilting!
