More Snow and Another Small Quilt Done!

Snowed in for another day! Watching the snow fall must give me some energy because another small flimsy is done. I got the inspiration at this quilt shop. I saw it up on the wall and came home and made it before I forgot what it looked like...LOL. I couldn't decide which brown print I liked better with the pinks so I decided to use both.

Here is a closer picture of the blocks. The block is 2 3/8" finished size...wow that's small...what was I thinking AGAIN.

This is what my backyard looked like this afternoon. The shrubs are getting pounded down by the weight of the snow. This big tree is not usually hanging so low, I can hardly see the fence hiding back there.

I hope you are finding time to spend sewing. Thanks for dropping by with a comment....I look forward to everyone.

Another little treasure of a quilt! Small quilts are so much fun to make. I always like to see photos of snow scenes. Snow is forecast here for later in the week.

Beautiful little quilt! Boy are those pieces tiny.

Snow is lovely when it is at your house and not mine!LOL We had sideways snow on Wed. That's snow with a 25-30mph wind. I've been in the midwest 6 years and rarely does snow stack up on the limbs and fences because there is always a stiff wind to blow it off.

Wow! Another cute flimsy! I love pink and brown together. We don't get snow here, but when it rains, I get more productive with my quilting too.

Love the pinks and brown little quilts. Just lovely! I must get back to mine. I started a 9 quilt BOM P&B Lori Smith, did the first one and stopped! Inspiration to get back at them...thanks!

I like the use of the two browns, it adds to the little quilt.
It has started to try and warm up here, it still has a way to go.

Hi Wendy, such a sweet little quilt, and just in time for valentine's day *VBS* It reminds me of the little quilts in that new book(well, new to me at least) "Prairie Children and Their Quilts".
Love the colors...and the snow is very pretty, but there is SO much of it..LOL. Stay warm, hugs, Finn

Your little quilt is great! I am especially fond of pink and brown quilts.

The snow picture reminds me of why I like living in Florida! It's beautiful to experience the snow but one day is enough.
