Is this progress?

Well now that I've announced to Suzette and Beth that I'm working on monthly pincushions, I have to confess I'm not progressing very well. As you can see I've completed one pincushion out of the 4 I've received.

Here is a stash busting scrappy quilt I recently started. I really like how it's turning out. The blocks are a very simple double 4 patch. These are the projects I'm sewing in between contractors arriving to do bathroom renovations. Yesterday the worker was here all day tiling in the bathroom and it turns out he will need to come back to remove 1 tile and do it again. The tile is too tight around the plumbing. It will be nice when I don't have a tub in the hallway and the toilet sitting in the den. It's a good thing we have another bathroom in the basement.

Your scrappy quilt is beautiful. And the pincushion too. Is there a sort of BOM pincushion you are doing??

The pin cushion that is finished is really cute -- now to finish the rest! Is it a monthly pin cushion group you joined?

Have fun with the renovations. It is so nice to have a new bathroom that it is well worth the inconvenience.

I like the setting you're using on that double 4patch. I'm really drawn to patterns with those great diagonal lines.

Your pincushion is so sweet! I can't wait to see the rest of them! I love scrappy quilts and this one is really nice. What pattern did you use, or is it your own? I like those little wool felting blocks and your postcards too.
