Blogger Meets Blogger

Pam and I have been talking about meeting for months and we finally found a good time to meet at a local quilt shop. The shop just opened a month ago and we thought this would be the perfect place. Maureen the shop owner thought it was a big hoot that we picked her shop. Maureen showed us all the new things in from Spring Market and then we went to a coffee shop for Curry Chicken soup....Mmmm it was sooooo good. After lunch we went back for more shopping. I couldn't resist a bag pattern and fabric with owls on it....another bag, I have no will power (Pam why didn't you stop me...LOL) it was just too cute to leave behind. I'll show you the bag when I get it together. I had such a good time chatting with Pam, she is a real sweetie. We are planning a road trip in the future with more shops on the list. Blogging has it's perks!! Thanks Pam for a wonderful day!
Maureen is the shop owner with her well behaved little dog (can't remember the dogs name) he is the nicest dog and sits under the table quietly staying away from under foot. Maureen is giving him a treat in the picture. Creative Edge Quilting is a unique little shop with lots of surprises in every corner. Sorry I should have taken more pictures, well I'll try and remember on my next trip. The fabrics range from pastels to trendy brights with a little bit of reproductions. Very cute shop and only about a 20 minute drive from my house. I'll be visiting Maureen more often since the shop is so close to me.

How fun to go to a new shop and meet a blogger that you have been communicating with over the internet! I love the batik quilt the shop owner has laid out on the table! Fabulous!

Wooow whooooooo! Waving madly to you both! What fun! Yea, I'm seriously thinking about heading your way next year! I'd love to meet you and Pam in person! Blogging has truly been a blessing for me too. I have met such wonderful souls. Ya think we can get Darlene to join us? ;o) Oh.... don't hold your breath on the package I promised you, and if Pam is reading this ..... I still haven't been to the post office. By Wednesday, life should be back to normal for me. I haven't blogged about it but I've just been in books for the past 5 weeks. Big exam this week! Hugs!

I love meeting bloggers. We have our tickets for Vancouver. We fly into Vancouver on June 29th and will be in the city until July 5th. Then we are going to Whistler and will be there until the 9th. We fly home on the 10th.

Are you going to be in town that week? Where is this shop? Is it close to Vancouver?

It was a nice visit Wendy -- I am really looking forward to the next visit :))) Nothing beats shopping with a fellow blogger who loves to shop.

The little dog is named JoJo. He is a good little guy alright. Thanks for blogging about our visit - I am still catching up on blogging from my Alaska trip.

How fun! Great to meet fellow bloggers... like seeing old friends.

That quilt with Maureen and the dog... I wonder if that's my pattern from Quilts & More. I know there are similar ones, but I hope it is... it'd be like a little bit of me was at your get-together! Oh, and chicken curry soup sounds out of this world yummy!
