Another Bucket Bag

 

Boo is thinking I made this bucket for his amusement. Hmmmm......he is wondering if there will be enough room to climb in.

He was so fast I almost didn't get a picture, as you can see there isn't enough room for him. Boo departs the photo session just as fast as he appeared. 

 

I made this using the pink and brown Anna Maria Horner fabric as my inspiration and Kaffe Fassett ribbons. I plan to use this bucket for my stitching while watching my favourite shows.

Some Kind of Wonderful Blocks and Class

 

I've got more blocks prepped and ready for stitching, these are the blocks I have completed the stitching. I'm enjoying working on this quilt, I just need to stop doing sooooo many other things.

Last week was crazy busy......I need a rest for the next couple. I did take two absolutely awesome classes with Shelley and Bernie, both are fantastic teachers, they make a great team. Shelley has a bead embellishing article published in this magazine (I hope it the right one) and Bernie fixes sewing machines. Shelley is over flowing with endless knowledge of all things quilting and makes learning fun. They have a unique way of teaching.....I've never laughed so much in a class. Tea Ducky

It's been a busy week......doing what???......well I don't know what I've done but by the end of the day I crash. I've made some progress on "My Favourite Things" quilt......I'll work on taking some pictures today. Off to enjoy my tea.

Bucket Bag

 

I made this bucket bag for my sisters birthday. The fabric is a panel and worked out to be the right size for making this bag. I'm hoping she will use it for crocheting and knitting projects. Now I better get it in the mail because her birthday is this weekend.

 

Boo ran up while I was taking the picture and tried to get in the bag. A little too small for him but he had to try.

Happy Easter

 

A bunny in the flower bed,  I finished the stitching and piecing the top a few days ago. 

 

A few fabric wallets I made for Easter gifts. These are for my girls and one for a friend.

 

So far Easter weekend has been warm and sunny, spent some time in the garden today, it sure feels good to have a little sun.
