These Scrappy Plates are fun to make and easier than they look. I've finished appliqueing about five Dresden blocks so far. The others are all prepped and ready for stitching while sitting on the back deck. You can find the free pattern from
Bunnyhill.
Happy Quilting!

Wendy that is a lovely block,well done.xx
Very sweet block, Wendy. I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day.
I didn't use the Bunnyhill pattern for my Dresden plates but they look the same. It is easy to do. My quilt still needs the machine quilting done.
I love Dresden Plates! I've been collecting 30s repros for a while specifically to make one of these. It will be my third Dresden Plate, although the others were very different. Yours is lovely!
Such a pretty block...I love the colors!
These are going to be so pretty. And it looks like a great way to use up some scraps!
Love the fabrics in your Dresden- very striking!
I like the look of your plates done in modern fabrics. Thank you for the inspiration of what to do with my leftovers!
