Quilt Finished

It seems blogging has been sporadic for me. I've been using Instagram much more lately, simply because it's EASY. There is also a button on my sidebar, so I'll see you here and over there!

The quilt I've been working on is from one of Kim Diehl's books (I love all her books), off hand I'm not sure which one this pattern is from. I love how Kim combines her fabric choices, hopefully I've accomplished something similar in this quilt.  Cats and quilts just seem to go together, Boo is showing his approval.
I was undecided about the orange border but I think it's growing on me now. Just need to figure out how to quilt this one.

Happy Quilting!

Kim designs the loveliest quilts, it looks as if you've made a beautiful quilt too. You're right, life wouldn't be right without a kitty and quilts. Happy stitching.

Boo seems to enhance the look of your lovely quilt. Love both. Hehehe.

This is a favorite of mine, too. I made a table runner for a friend based on this pattern and have a few more of the blocks on a design board, waiting to make a wall hanging.
Think the orange looks great!

Nine Patch and Churn Dash... two of my favorite blocks, and here they are in your wonderful quilt! Must look through my Kim books to see if I have this pattern. Love the orange border, and Boo!!!

Wonderful choice of fabrics, Wendy. The orange border is just the right finishing touch. And your lovely assistant seems to agree.

Absolutely love churn dash quilts; I haven't seen one before with a 9patch center; love it!!

I also have gotten sucked into instagram and find it harder to blog. Glad I am not the only one.

I follow you on Instagram. I've just begun using it and find it works well but lacks the personality that blog posts afford. Kin Diehl is a favorite of mine. Or at least I enjoy her books. Haven't made any of her quilts yet. I sure like yours. Orange border works nicely.
